Sounds like a great idea.  Mailing list sounds good, or perhaps if we all
consistently use a certain category or tag on our respective blogs for
events, we could just aggregate all of the RSS feeds in one place.  What do
you consider the 'Eastern Sprawl'?  I can easily count Hive76, the Hactory,
Alpha-1 and NYCR as my neighbors, but they all may have their own ideas.
 Where do you draw the line?
