[hackerspaces] [hackerspaces-core] Media Request

Hey Eric,

This sounds like it will be way fun!

A BBC World Service reporter (Gareth Mitchell) stopped by Noisebridge this past Friday to interview me and a few others. It's for a show called Digital Planet -- a weekly (I think) tech show. He totally "gets it", and if it airs, should be yet another a very positive portrayal of hackers and hacker spaces in the main stream press.

Enjoy,

Mitch.

As an aside, how long would the interview probably be, and will there be call-in questions. I don't mind either, just would like to know ahead of time.

Hi there,

I am a producer on BBC Radio Scotland. I work on a lifestyle programme up here called MacAulay and Co, which is presented by Scottish comedian Fred MacAulay. I would be very interested in speaking to you guys on Wed 24th June and wondered if you have a spokesperson that does interviews.

Can you email me back or ring me on 0141 422 6714. I will be leaving the office shortly but will be in on Monday morning so if you get this message over the weekend - email me your thoughts.

It'd be a live interview and I was thinking of doing it around 1050. I can be in a BBC studio near to where you are.

Karen
