Dear hackers, geeks and technothusiasts,

PlumberCon09 is approaching with giant steps, and we're trying to keep  
the website (& you, of course) up to date as much as we can!
You might've already checked out the schedule on http://plumbercon.org/schedule 
  a while ago - but still we're in the process of updating the info  
frequently to share an overview of what this con is gonna be about  
with you.

First things first, the Biohacking workshop had to be moved to 0day  
(aka Friday, Aug. 07th) at noon - there is still one (and only one)  
place left, so in case you are interested and want to participate in a  
DNA-hacking day at the Vienna Open Lab, please send an e-mail to biohacking at plumbercon.org 
  (and Lisa Thalheim will get back to you instantaneously).

Also, Fin from the Viennese hackerspace Metalab is organizing a  
Journey to the End of the Night that same day (culminating in the Kick- 
Off party at Metalab); more info can soon to be found on http://journeyvienna.at/ 
  - if you want to take the role of a chaser or set up a checkpoint,  
please get in touch with him directly via fin at hackerspaces.org!

On Sunday, day[2] of the con, we are reserved a slot for Lightning  
Talks starting at 04.15 pm; if you're planning to give a short  
presentation or share a project idea, you're welcome to reply to this  
mail directly.

And, last but not least: In case you are coming to Vienna and haven't  
yet registered on the site, you only have 2 DAYS LEFT to get an early  
bird ticket for 25 EUR; all hackerspace members, citizens of the  
Republic of Boundless L33ts & Hackers, and followers of the Church of  
Security can apply for the special fare of 10 EUR per ticket by  
entering the name of your hackerspace & the promo code 'Neighborliness  
abounds!' in the notes box on http://plumbercon.org/register.
