I thought I would share a number of links I was recently sent from  
different sources.

Lots of small components like odd types of wire, gears, and many other  
objects for making stuff:

This is sort of like About.com meets Instructables for solving  
problems with electronics. People post questions and others help solve  
the question for everyone to see:

Also there's this little toy that seems it could work well as a
