<div dir="ltr">Might I suggest disabling the old mailing list? People will keep sending to it as long as it keeps working. If you could make it return an error message telling people to go to the new list that would be ideal.</div>

A tip for those overwhelmed by their inboxes: It's fairly easy to set up mail filters, so that mail from particular lists gets automatically archived in a separate folder.
