Some poor guy, wearing an "ornate watch" - probably a steampunk or (heaven forbid!) nixie watch - just got arrested at the Oakland airport. They called in the bomb squad and everything, which of course didn't find anything wrong. So rather than admitting they screwed up, they arrested him on grounds that his watch could be used to make a timing device for the explosives that he wasn't carrying. Oh, and he was wearing boots too. And he may have gotten a little defensive after being accused of being a terrorist bomb maker.

Based on his "WTF, is this really happening?" mugshot, it looks to be this guy:

http://www.linkedin.com/pub/geoff-mcgann/14/204/765

So if you see anything on the news tonight about a terrorist being arrested at the Oakland airport with bomb making equipment, don't be too surprised...

And don't wear any watches that can be used as timing devices next time you need to catch a flight...
