Hi everyone,<div><br></div><div>i heard that the art murmur was a big success! very bummed to have missed it, but looking forward to hearing all about it tonight.</div><div><br></div><div>regarding the compact, i'm also in favor of keeping it at 23 for the same reasons that victoria listed.</div>
<div><br></div><div>regarding eddan's question on the best way to move forward, is it the current situation that the draft of the compact is more or less written and that we are now editing? or is there more writing that needs to happen on it? if more writing, it might be helpful to have a list of the areas that need attention so that we can finish writing, then finish editing, and then finalize the text. i think we would all be very happy if we could finalize the text of the compact tonight and get voting started. what do others think about this?</div>
<div><br></div><div>best,</div><div>marina</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>PS - to eddan's point re: events coordinator, my personal perspective is that i would prefer to not have an official events coordinator role...isn't this a role that can be fluid based on who wants to organize what events? so far, we've had pretty good luck letting people organize into ad hoc groups of people who are interested in events around a particular issue, keeping the larger group informed to allow others to join in the planning, and letting everyone claim pieces of the planning that they can or are willing to do. it HAS been a little chaotic, but i imagine that as we continue to learn how to work together that we'll get better at this kind of thing without the need for a formal "events coordinator" role. just my two cents.</div>

<br></div><div>also, I thought the Fix-It Clinic guys were awesome! It seemed like a lot of things were being fixed - I hope they had a good time. And though I must admit I still don't get Max's circle thing, people seemed to love it, especially the kids, right? Matt- do we have a picture of what the sign looks like now?<br>
<br></div><div>so now we have the experience of 2 Art Murmurs under our belt - with fantastically creative contributions from a whole bunch of folks, but with a minimalist distributed structure for organizing it. it would be useful to get some input on what's gone right and wrong these past 2 times. maybe on the sudo-nymous pad? <a href="https://pad.riseup.net/p/sudoroom" target="_blank">https://pad.riseup.net/p/sudoroom</a></div>
<div><br></div><div>Also, it seems to me that we should add a "Coordinator of Time & Space" (or something with a better name) as another main sudo functionary position on the compact at <a href="http://hackerspaces.org/wiki/Sudo_room/Compact#Section_2.2_Sudo_Functionaries" target="_blank">http://hackerspaces.org/wiki/Sudo_room/Compact#Section_2.2_Sudo_Functionaries</a>. And specifically because of Art Murmur, which seems to get more and more popular each month, I also think we should try to get some sudo folk to be in some Art Committee; or perhaps the previously proposed Dynamic Association of Displayed Art (DADA) Commission, which would enable inclusion of outside contributors and rotating duties.</div>

certain specific rituals and agreements must be carried out, such as
sealing contracts with the mysterious temples of power we call ‘banks’

However, this bank-ordained birth into the club of actuality can not be
