Believe me, I want to do that more than anything. But we don't hack in vacuums (unless you're an astronaut), so there's quite a bit to be done to create a platform and a space (physical and conceptual) to hack. We have beginnings of this at Techliminal's Wed hack night. </font></div>
<div><font color="#222222" face="arial, sans-serif"><br></font></div><div><font color="#222222" face="arial, sans-serif">Some folks like partaking in that legwork, others have some different priorities (and this is actually great for everyone I think, it's nice to help with and also learn from others' projects as we're getting sudo room together). </font></div>

I think we're on our trajectory away from that, which we will hopefully be able to do in the future by separating hacking meetups from "strictly bizness" meetings or online conversations, etc.</font></div>

If anyone feels a need to keep their hands busy during our Wednesday<br>
meetings - I left the "Box of CD player guts" that I unsuccessfully<br>
tried to flog at the SudoRoom fundraiser in our SudoRoom locker at<br>
TechLiminal. There's lots of cool DC and stepper motors in there for<br>
robotics projects. Just pulling out all the useful parts and gathering<br>
the rest for E-recycling would be a nice mindless activity that is<br>
entirely compatible with participating in planning sessions. Kinda<br>
like knitting for engineers...<br>
