<span style="font-size:15px;font-family:Arial;font-weight:normal;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap"></span><br><span style="font-size:15px;font-family:Arial;font-weight:normal;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">I wanted to let your members know about an opportunity to attend Maker Faire Bay Area (May 19th & 20th). </span><span style="font-size:15px;font-family:Arial;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">The Road to Maker Faire Challenge</span><span style="font-size:15px;font-family:Arial;font-weight:normal;vertical-align:baseline;white-space:pre-wrap">, presented by Esurance, is offering a $2,000 stipend for a project proposal and build. The deadline is April 5th, and we're looking for projects that are self-challenging to the maker, and that our audience will enjoy seeing. I hope this doesn’t just sound like a prize pitch - it’s our first time doing a type of “grant” or award to attend Maker Faire, so we’re still figuring it out as we go along. We're hoping to build on this platform to offer more Maker Faire grants in the future.</span><br>
