Hey Sudoers,

Workshop Weekend is looking for volunteers for its fourth event this
weekend, June 30 & July 1, in downtown Oakland. Volunteer with us and we'll
waive your admission fee and invite you to join us at our teacher dinner.
(Matt Senate gave us a hand last time around in March, and he was a great
help and - I believe - had a good time! Matt, correct me if I'm wrong!)

The event itself is a community-focused educational weekend that draws
hundreds of makers to teach and take workshops all weekend long, on topics
like electronics and soldering, crafts, programming, cooking, art, and lots
of other awesome stuff. All workshops are 1-3 hours long, take place at
Tech Liminal or at Comrade in Old Oakland, and admission is normally $30
for the weekend. For more details, visit http://workshopweekend.net

We're looking for volunteers to help with day-of logistics like checking
people in, helping with directions, etc.; some workshops are very hands-on
and would also benefit from some experienced hands helping out. Anyone who
volunteers for 4 or more hours is invited to our teacher dinner and gets
free admission.

If any of this sounds like fun, let me know!

J.D.
