Here's an article on RocketHub - the science oriented crowd source (kickstarter) site I mentioned last week....<br> <a href="http://www.entrepreneur.com/blog/223551">http://www.entrepreneur.com/blog/223551</a>
<br><br><div>I talked with Alon Hillel-Tuch (CFO) at Maker Faire. He had some interesting suggestions ...</div><div>1) <a href="http://RocketHub.org">RocketHub.org</a> is a site that helps train scientists, etc to do crowd funding</div><div>2) To help vet grant proposals, have them do a crowd funding project ... this shows how well they can interact and promote their project. If they can't get funding, they probably are not worth the grant $$.</div><div>3) if they do get crowd funding, there are sources that may provide matching funds. A project could do a $1000 crowd funding, get $1000 matching from HSP and another $1000 from RocketHub's match program.</div><div><br></div><div>hmmm.</div><div> <br><div>
