Not quite as aesthetically pleasing as Mintyboost, but someone built
several basic battery extenders for OccupySF,  along with very simple
instructions and a video.

Newer Apple devices want something on their data lines, so if you plan to
power any of that gear you must add 4 resistors.  See config here:
