[foodhackingbase] fancy a dehydrator @ 31c3 ?

I picked up half a kilo of mixed fruit leftovers from a juicer at family
today and froze them, so we have some material to work with.

I did not dare borrow the 200 euro juicer though. If it turns out great on
day 1 (I hope 'schatz' is showing up that day and we get to play with the
machine!) we could always buy one, and a load of fruit.

I did not manage to find a proper food processor or blender yet, just my
'stick blender' and a mixer. If things turn out as bad as it sounds with the
'no heat source' rule, we can always buy equipment. I would not mind owning
a juicer, and MediaMarkt is at Hauptbahnhof.

Hello c_atc and all,
Dehydrator seems to me as a great idea especially for this congress
hopefully should be heat safe. Food processor is something what we are
missing, if someone could bring one that would be amazing - again this
congress would really use + decent blender would be very handy.

Try to think please around the lines of raw cold based cuisine things
like paleolitic food style can come to mind etc.

Looking forward to meet you at the congress, when are you coming? We are
on the ground since 22nd preparing so may be able to do some things in
advance in the spot if necessary.

Sincerely,

FAA
