<p dir="ltr">Red, Madelynn didn't say she's "conducting a study" or even the word "research". She asked for contributions for an article. A qualitative, story-based article on sexism in Hackerspaces. Not a scientific or data-driven study to determine *whether* or *how* or *with what frequency* it occurs, but an article based on personal stories about its occurrence. There's no scientifically valid way to invalidate the qualitative experience of an individual, so why bother chasing such a metric in the first place?</p>
<p dir="ltr">If you're going to get stuffy about science, at least /try/ to present a logically sound argument about it. =P</p>
