I find it really funny that for a group of people where some people get bullied that now some of us have become the bully. *isms are everywhere and will continue to be everywhere. Haters are going to hate. I have seen some sexism but I usually brush it off as the person(s) is an idiot and I move on. (on both sides of the sex/gender spectrum) I feel like this is harped on over and over and over again. If someone bullies you call them out. I find it is like the school playground all over again. The guy pulls your pigtails and instead of running off you punch him in the chest and he will either profess his love for you or limp away sulking. </div>
<div>There is a huge difference between holding your head high because you can do/know your shit and acting like your shit don't stink. There are tons of guys out there who want nothing more than to not have a hackerspace/con/gathering of geekdom full of nothing but men. They love to have a female perspective on something. Join with them and leave the boys alone. </div>
