(<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://github.com/eastein/lidless/issues/31">https://github.com/eastein/lidless/issues/31</a>) and the config is

P.S. Dear Koen, don't put this in the directory yet, I'm not done.

More seriously, the idea of using APIS to connect two rooms
together could have very interesting applications in other
fields. One of my colleagues is working on electronic "twinning"
technology between schools and classrooms between countries and
interaction windows and walls into another classroom would be
pretty awesome for our students and teachers to work together
across distances (like in that old Microsoft R&D video from a few
years ago).

Oh this is sweet! Some of us have been hacking at
Noisebridge on an internal REST API for stuff like our gate

Of course I implemented a simple version of it for
Milwaukee Makerspace last week. :)
(But it will be good to have more spaces join in.)

<pre wrap=""> Cool ideas, I'm for em!
My dream for awhile has been a persistent video wall so
you can look through a "window" into other spaces
around the world and say hi. There's a ustream video
matrix which is cool, but always seems to be offline,
and I made a webcam matrix but it's just snapshots
updated every few seconds.
With the proliferation of cheap screen-speaker-webcam
combos (tablets) this is sounding more doable but needs
software kinda like a google hangout to make work.
Whether it's something we work on or not, it's still on
my todo list :)
