<p>Sector67 is a hacker/maker/community workspace in Madison, WI. We're
working on making next generation technology available to anyone
interested in the Madison area. We could really use a laser cutter to
enable people to build some of their creations.</p>

<p>We're going to use the laser cutter to run off one of a kind Sector67
swag to give out and/or to engrave whatever people would like as a
reward for sponsoring the machine.</p>

</div>We found a dealer in the UK who imports the cheap Chinese laser<br>
cutters and provides spares for them. We bought a 40W, 800x600mm<br>
(24x32") model for less than a third the cost of the equivalent Epilog<br>
model.<br>

We have had a couple of problems with it, but primarily due to cooling<br>
issues which were our fault.<br>
