For the record I'm not from NYCR. <br><br>Matt's point of what we want moderated is important but unfortunately fodder for another round of personal and politically charged discussion which will most likely not get us anywhere. A moderator could handle thread moves at the request of people on the list.<br>
<br> One would think code of conduct would be pretty simple. Here's where a moderator can come in handy. Using Eric's example of hackerY who makes some good points in an inappropriate way. Everyone has seen it happen on the list where 20 people come crashing down on the poor guy and he gets defensive or leaves the group instead of being brought to a higher level. A moderator could step in and handle HackerY either off list or on list.<br>
