As for crashspace, we've simply banned the second and third-person
imperative tense. You're not allowed to say "you should", or "someone
should", just "I want to" or "I will.". Asking for help is encouraged.

It doesn't always work, but it gives us an easy way to shut down
particularly bossy non-contributors. On the other hand, I know it's a mild
disincentive to bring good ideas up, lest I be expected to do them.
