agreed!

and further, having a deadline seems to be what brings people out and
the most gets done.  Just before events like open houses and makers
faires and other events where we are to show off our skills is when
the most projects get completed in the least amount of time.  I'm
tempted to say "well, we just need to have more events" but I'm afraid
we'd burn out, and potential attendees would to.

the struggle seem to be getting that sense of urgency that gets people
out to get things done without actually having anything urgent.

I like the "what did you do last week" idea, I think that may work in
ArchReactor.  might extend it to "what are you doing in the next
couple weeks" too, with a slant towards "what can people team up and
do"
