[hackerspaces] status of this list

[Dave Giancaspro]

I have been following the discussion/debate/argument for the past few days.
This has created from my count three threads which have all but taken over
the list.  A moderator would help keep this kind of thing to a minimum by
actually putting a stop to it before it gets out of hand.

I also think Matt would be a good choice due to his involvement and
dedication to the community.
